This elegant, colorful, antique fishbowl was created in China. 14 1/2 ” wide x 11 1/2″tall Round in shape, the large, porcelain bowl features Classic oriental scenes with people throughout. The ceramic vase is painted on the inside as well with a traditional koi fish illustration motif. The fishbowl could be put to use as deep planter as well. Overall, the exotic, Asian piece is in wonderful condition with a beautiful, vibrant multi-color palette and gilt accents. This bowl is a must-have for a traditional style home, or for the chinoiserie collector. In good condition with some yellowing and cracking of glaze due to age. There are one or two very light fractures pictured in my last few photos. There are light some scrape marks on the bottom but nothing major.
