Davenport Hand Painted Braddock’s American Peach Grey & Gold Plate Circa 1830-45. Nice bone china plate Decorated with a hand painted peach and blossoms in the center framed by gold sprigs and scrollwork. Has a grey border with gold gilt leaf and sprig designs. Gold gilt highlights along the edge. Marked on the reverse in puce Davenport Longport under a puce crown. This mark was used between 1830 and 1845. Also has the title Braddock’s American peach and the pattern number 388. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 9 1/4 inches wide.
