This cup and this empire porcelain saucer were found in an attic, where they had been kept for many years. Both of the empire period, they have differences, however: the saucer is a shade closer to black than cobalt blue, and no connection pattern unites them. It is therefore possible that they are not original together. The cup is distinguished by its refined decor of foliage and golden ornaments, as well as by its hand carved in a volute, typical of the Empire style.
