Gone With the Wind: Golden Anniversary Series collector plates 1988. Set of 12 plates. By artist Howard Rogers, the only fine china collector’s plate series ever authorized by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the immortal film Gone With the Wind. Crafted in fine china under the hallmark of W. George, each plate was produced in an edition strictly limited to 150 firing days. I have been an avid Gone With the Wind enthusiast since I was a young girl. Collector plates and other memorabilia were often gifts received from family. Never Removed From Box… MINT condition with Certificate of Authenticity. Always kept in original box in a plastic storage container. Makes me sad to let these go. They are truly lovely. But it is time to downsize!

Set of 6 George Jones Yellow & Gold Octagonal Porcelain 8 5/8 Plates C. Set of 6 porcelain bone china octagonal luncheon plates. Decorated with a pale yellow border with gold gilding along the edge and a wide gold band with two smaller gold bands along the inner rim. Marked on the bottom Crescent GJ & Sons England. Circa 1891 to 1921. Has some usage wear consistent with age and some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Each plate measures approximately 8 5/8 inches wide. These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the pieces.

Nicely decorated in the 25516 pattern with a marbleized blue border and fancy gold gilt floral and floral scrollwork designs. With gold gilt highlights to the relief molded edge. Marked on the reverse in black Bone China Crescent GJ & Sons George Jones & Sons Made in England. This mark was used between 1921 and 1951. Has some very minor usage wear consistent with age and very minor wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 9 inches wide. I have 10 dinner plates available. George Jones Crescent China Floral Cobalt & Gold 8 7/8 Inch Plate C. 1920s Absolutely beautiful scalloped edge porcelain plate. Decorated with pink, blue, red, yellow and purple flowers in the center. With bands of gold gilding, gold gilt dots, and gold gilt scrollwork. The border is a deep cobalt blue over white, with fancy gold gilt scrollwork around sections of white that show though. Some of the white sections have small flowers. With scalloped gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the reverse The Bailey Banks & Biddle Co Philadelphia and GJ & Sons Made in England. This mark was used by George Jones Crescent China during the 1920s. Bailey Banks & Biddle are the Philadelphia retailer the plate was made for. Also marked with the pattern number 18008. Has overall crazing, and a few very minor spots of wear to the gilding along the very edge, but is in otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 8 7/8 inches wide.
