HUTCHENREUTHER Selb Bavaria Gold Encrusted Dinner Plates. Elegant Extra Wide 22 Carat Gold Encrusted Floral Gild Broad Side Rim/Edge/Border with Ivory Center Porcelain Cabinet/Dinner Plates Pattern HUT3332 (obtained pattern number from Replacements. Com). These pieces are stunning. They appear to have never been used, although the small band inside each plate has been partially rubbed off, as the thin band is exactly where the plates, when stacked, sit atop each other. You may find a tiny, shallow scratch or two very, very few… Some plates totally without one, which again appear to be from less-than-optimal storing or display. There are a couple of marks on the gold area of two plates. I’m hopeful that they can be removed with the appropriate cleaner. Other than mentioned, these plates appear to have no chips, cracks or crazing. They are stamped on the back (please refer to pics). One plate has a small “smear” just on the inside of the bold border (I’ve included a pic) and another has a small scuff area on the gold band (please refer to pics). I also found the exact same plate, pattern, colors by Heinrich & Co. (H&C) listed on yet a different another site.
