8 Bisto, England Gold Ring Porcelain Plates. Condition: wear commensurate to the age but there are no chips or cracks. Some rubbing on the rims and the body of the plates. This mark (Caduceus) was registered as a trade mark by Powell & Bishop in 1876 the mark was also used by subsequent partnerships including Powell, Bishop & Stonier. Caduceus: A winged staff with two serpents twined around it, carried by Hermes (Greek God) it is a symbol of commerce. Measures: 11″ in diameter and 1″ H. Please refer to the pictures for details. Fantastic Victorian Limoges Porcelain Fish Service 14 Piece Set Signed LS&S (Lazarus Straus & Sons) Limoges France. Pieces are Signed LUC (Quiseu Luc, French Artist). Set is Comprised of : 12 Plates (9 1/2″ Diameter x 1 1/8″ High). Platter (23 5/8″ Length x 2 1/2″ High) Gravy Boat (7 3/4″ Long x 5″ High x 4 1/4 Deep). FANTASTIC HP Fish w/ Colorful Floral Design, Green Tone Border & Heavy Gold Gilt Ornate Edging. Set Displays BEAUTIFULLY & Looks Absolutely Wonderful in Cabinet. Condition is Very Crisp, No Wear or Fading. Unfortunately there are two plates with each having a very small chip on edge of backside of plate. These are shown in pictures 14 & 15.
