Christmas Ball Tea and Luncheon Set. This is beautiful antique set by Noritake in Japan. The Christmas Ball pattern features an elegant hand painted mirage design. They are marked with the M (Morimura) in wreath for age authentication on most pieces and are numbered 16034. The set serves four and includes 1 teapot, 1 sugar bowl, 1 creamer, 4 cups with 4 saucers and 4 luncheon plates for a total of 15 pieces. Condition is very good with only some light wear on the gold handles from use and age. This light wear is typical from 100 years of use and is looking forward to another 100 years! The quality of Nortiake porcelain china is considered excellent. Teapot: 4 1/2 high with lid and holds 24 ounces. Sugar Bowl: 3 5/8 high with lid. Creamer: 2 3/8 high. These pieces marked Nippon date before 1910 , this set is a true Antique. 8 Dinner -10″ 8 Luncheon/salad plates 8-1/2 ” 8 Bread & Butter plates. 6- 1/2″ 8 Fruit /Dessert Bowls 5-1/4 ” 2 Oval servings dishes 8 ” 1 Sugar 1 Creamer 2 Relish /Pickle dishes 8″ 1 large Platter. 14″ 7 Cups & 8 Saucers 6 Soup Bowls 8″ 1 Coffee Pot No Chips slight wear from use , mostly on the dinner plates gold inner rim.
