Vintage Castleton China CASTLETON Laurel pattern Gold Gilded lot of 10 plates. The Gold Pearl edges are exquisite! This Castleton company started making dishes in 1901. Not sure when the Laurel line came out. No chips or cracks. Slight staining on the backs of a few dinner plates but most likely will come off with non abrasive scrubber which I didn’t take the time to do.. Gorgeous gold on ivory. 6 Large 8 salad plates. 4 10.5 dinner plates. These are completely compatible to mix with the Belmont pattern. I will spend a lot to insure these are packed well. Nice set of 6 dinner plates by Castleton China. As you can see, there is no pattern name on the plate backs. I tried to track one down and didn’t get lucky. Even Replacements shows “C1″ or “CC1″ or “8805” (their number). The plates are a little more than 10 1/2 across. They are in lovely condition. There are no rim chips, no cracks, and very minimal signs of utensil wear. I took a photo of each plate’s face for you to look over.
