Handmade in Germany during the early 20th century these Victorian-style porcelain plates feature a glossy finish with a decorative flower theme. These unique and antique plates are sure to impress guests and elevate your dining experience. Condition: Excellent Antique condition. No chips, cracks, flea bites or pattern wear. Minor to negligible trim loss, see photos. The mark on the image belongs to Tirschenreuth porcelain. Here’s some information about the company. Heinrich Eichhorn founded the company in 1838. In 1927, Lorenz Hutschenreuther took over the porcelain factory. The factory closed in 1995 after more than 150 years of operation. Tirschenreuth porcelain is known for its fine quality, and vintage pieces are sought after by collectors. The mark in the image includes the letters P. ” beneath a crown, followed by “BAVARIA TIRSCHENREUTH” and “DECORATED IN OWN STUDIOS. The location of Tirschenreuth is in the north of Upper Palatinate, approximately 75 miles north of Regensburg and 35 miles east of Bayreuth. Thank you for your interest in my auctions. This is a very beautiful vintage Chinese fine porcelain ware large serving plate platter charger bowl or wall hanging. This beautiful plate is hand decorated in Hong Kong. The center is flowers and fruit with leaves and birds. The rim has Oriental symbols and flowers. It has heavy gold accents and rim. The bowl plate is 14.5″ in diameter and 3″ high. This fine vintage plate is in excellent condition – no chips or cracks. This beautiful plate would make a great addition to your collection, or as a gift for your favorite Oriental porcelain collector! There is a slight loss of gold paint from the inner circle and can be seen in the last photo for informational purposes.
