Masterfully hand painted English china lady cameo portait signed and titled ” Pomona ” by noted Doulton artist Frank N. Pomona was the Roman goddess of the harvest and fruit pruning especially associated with apples. Heavily gilded and tinted ornate border. Mark dates this piece to circa 1900. Size is about 9-3/4 inches wide. Condition is excellent with no chips or cracks. Only slight wear from gentle l use and minor original clay or glaze flaws as made originally.

Listing for a magnificent and spectacular ultra rare Royal Doulton 9 inch Dinner Plate set for 4 in good overall condition except that each plate has one chip on it that has been gold painted to blend in as shown in the last 4 pictures. Two of the plates have the high end retailers mark from Ovington Brothers. They measure 9 inches diameter each.
