This is a beautiful set of dishes, including 8 dinner plates and 8 dessert plates (6.25). One dessert plate has a small chip, but the rest are in good condition. The dinner plates are very vibrant and in excellent condition, suggesting the dessert plates were used more frequently, though they remain in overall nice shape. Please note there is crazing throughout, adding to their vintage charm. This set would make a delightful addition to any tea party! Dinner plates are marked 23K Gold – the stamp indicates they were made in the 3rd quarter of 1955.

GDA / Charles Field Haviland Pedistal Round Covered Vegetable – Gold Filigree Ve. This is a wonderful covered vegetable bowl made by GDA & Charles Field Haviland. It measures 9″ across or 11″ from handle to handle. It stands on a pedistal and has a lid. It is in great condition with no chips, nicks or cracks. The gold is still very nice as well. It has the Charles Field Haviland backstamp along with the GDA mark. Please view the photos for a better description. Rosenthal Flow Blue Nude Portrait Plates with gold filigree edge decoration. There are three different patterns, one of which appears three times in two sizes. Of the two sizes four of them are about 6 7/8″ in diameter and the smaller one is about 6 1/4″. Very good condition, especially when accounting for age these are over 100 years old with a back-stamp that places this circa 1896 to 1906. No crazing or chips. One small crack visible on the reverse of one of the larger of the two plates with the two bathing women (see last photo). A few minor scratches to surfaces but overall nice very nice looking fronts. There are a few areas of discoloration on the reverses as well as some typical wear at bottom rim from surface contact.

Vintage 66pc Altrohlau MZ Czechoslovakia/Austria Red And Gold Filigree China Set. Beautiful set of Altrohlau MZ Czechoslovakia/Austria red and gold filigree china dish set. The design is a gold gallery trim with red stripe in the middle. Circa 1922 – 1945 based on the maker’s stamp on the bottoms of each dish. There are a number of stamps on each piece, with the green eagle stamp with MZ Czechoslovakia being the main mark as well as an 8 pointed star with “MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA” in a circle around it. There are also numerous 1 and 2 digit numbers stamped in gold, silver and purple on the bottoms of each piece. The set consists of 6 complete place settings (4 if including the fruit bowls). Each set contains 5 pieces; a large 10″ dinner plate, 7 3/4″ plate, 6 1/4″ plate, 5 5/8″ saucer and a tea cup. This entire set includes 66 pieces in the following; 10 x 10″ dinner plates 11 x 7 3/4″ salad plates 12 x 6 1/4″ Bread and butter Plates 6 x 5 5/8″ saucers 7 x tea cups 4 x 5 1/8″ fruit bowls 12 x 7 1/2″ soup bowls 1 x lidded Tureen 1 x 8 1/2″ lidded veggie bowl 1 x 9 1/4″ x 7″ oval Veggie bowl 1 x 12 7/8″ x 9 1/2 oval serving platter. It appears that many of the original pieces that came with this set have broken and resulted in reduced complete sets. Most notably, the cups and saucers. The designs do show some extensive wear. Mostly to the gold trim. This set was well loved but has so much life left in it. Descriptions are made as a best guess based on size of each particular dish (the bread and butter plates could actually be dessert plates, etc).
