Copeland Hand Painted Pink Rose Blue Floral & Gold Garlands 9 5/8 Plate Circa 1890 Beautiful porcelain bone china dinner plate. Decorated with hand painted pink rose and blue forget me not garlands with gold leaves. With small gold gilt dots above the garlands. The garlands hang from gold rings around a gold band. With small gold scallops along the edge of the plate and a band of gold gilding around the center. Marked on the reverse Copeland’s China. Also has an importer’s mark for Burley & Co Chicago Ill. Has an impressed Y over 90 date code for May 1890. Has some wear to the gilding and usage wear consistent with age, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 9 5/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
