Gone With the Wind: Golden Anniversary Series collector plates 1988. Set of 12 plates. By artist Howard Rogers, the only fine china collector’s plate series ever authorized by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the immortal film Gone With the Wind. Crafted in fine china under the hallmark of W. George, each plate was produced in an edition strictly limited to 150 firing days. I have been an avid Gone With the Wind enthusiast since I was a young girl. Collector plates and other memorabilia were often gifts received from family. Never Removed From Box… MINT condition with Certificate of Authenticity. Always kept in original box in a plastic storage container. Makes me sad to let these go. They are truly lovely. But it is time to downsize!

Set of 6 George Jones Yellow & Gold Octagonal Porcelain 8 5/8 Plates C. Set of 6 porcelain bone china octagonal luncheon plates. Decorated with a pale yellow border with gold gilding along the edge and a wide gold band with two smaller gold bands along the inner rim. Marked on the bottom Crescent GJ & Sons England. Circa 1891 to 1921. Has some usage wear consistent with age and some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Each plate measures approximately 8 5/8 inches wide. These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the pieces.

11 antique George Jones English porcelain plates, beautifully decorated with pink rose swags and raised turquoise jewels. The plates are just over 8.75 inches diameter, and all 11 plates are in excellent condition with no cracks, no chips, no repairs, just some light utensil marks and some very minor gold wear. There are a few typical minor manufacturing flaws like small flat spots under the glaze and little glaze skips (the plates were made like this). The photos for details. Thank you for looking! Rare Eggshell Nautilus Homer Laughlin / George Bowman Golden Fleece China Set

This extraordinary set was made in May of 1949 at the Newell, West Virginia plant. As I understand it, the 22kt gold floral pattern is number HLC119 called “The Golden Fleece”. This set is missing one dinner plate reducing this 80 piece set to 79 pieces. The china set is a cream color with an iridescent mother of pearl high gloss glaze which is quite rare. The design is composed of gold flowers and the edges and handles are trimmed in heavy 22kt gold. If you’re not familiar with this rare and unique china, here’s a little back story. In 1916 George H. Bowman was the largest wholesale and retail dealer in cut glass and decorated china in the United States. George Bowman was the factory representative for the Homer Laughlin China Company and he was responsible for conceiving a great number of the top tier decorated sets. This stunning set is the result of the exceptional workmanship of George Bowman and the incomparable quality of Homer Laughlin china. This set is museum quality. Has some very minor usage wear consistent with age and very minor wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 9 inches wide. I have 10 dinner plates available.
