Absolutely beautiful antique French Limoges porcelain parlor centerpiece / jardinière dating to the late 19th century Belle Époque period. This is a porcelain export blank made for luxury American retailers and decorated with hand-applied Roman liquid gold. Features an elegant scalloped rim, sculpted Roman-gold handles, and classic ball feet with gold “boot” caps, a highly desirable form produced by Limoges factories such as Pouyat, Haviland, and Tressemanes & Vogt. Details. Origin: Limoges, France. Period: Rococo Revival / Early Art Nouveau, c. Condition Very good antique condition. No cracks or repairs. Rim and feet are excellent. Four tiny flea-bite nicks on the handles only (common on antique Roman-gold pieces). Gold remains strong and bright.

Antique Chinese Porcelain Hand Painted Footbath Planter Jardiniere Fish 17.5L. This is a gorgeous Chinese porcelain g ilt handled fish bowl foot bath with an ornate na vy blue and gold gilt paisley exterior, a beautiful golden rolled r i m decorated with glazed “gems”, and an exquisitely hand painted polychrome freshwater pond scene inside depicting swimming Koi fish. This piece is in excellent antique condition. There are some epic reflections on the handles that caused the gold to appear missing. They are only reflections, the gold is in remarkable condition.

Exquisite vintage Chinese cachepot that is oval in shape. It has bands on the top, middle and bottom that are a royal yellow in color with gold gilt designs. The handles on each end have a floral look and are also yellow and gold. There is a picture of a river bank that has homes, trees and rocks depicted there. In the distance there are two mountain peaks. On each side of the picture there are tall columns of white and gold. There are some small areas where the gold gilt has worn away. The original foil label that reads Made In China is still on the bottom. It measures 10.5 long, 7 wide and 6 high. It weighs 4 pounds and 6 ounces prior to wrapping and packaging. Vase is hand painted & Gold gilded, and features exquisite symbolic flowers including Lotus, Chrysanthemum, Hydrangea, Orchid, and Peony flowers, in an array of beautiful colors. Colors are bright, vivid, vibrant, & uniform. Rich gold gilt is shiny. Gold Gilt figural Foo Dog handles are applied at the neck & shoulder, as well as figural hand painted, raised dragons applied around the shoulder. Underside is slightly glazed over the official red seal, rim not glazed. Which is typical for this time period. Measures: 8.75 off r… 10.25″ outer rim, 8.25 inside rim, 7″deep. 10″top of bowl under decorated rim, tapers down slightly to 9″. Then rolls down to a 7base. Used to fit perfectly me thinks the dry AZ air shrunk it a little, doesn’t fit. As snug as it did when we bought it, still works good!
