This Antique Minton or other English origin Celeste Blue Ribbon & Gilded 10 Inch Plate c. 1810 is a stunning, hand painted plate with a 3 dimensional ribbon border and a center gilded gold medallion. The plate is marked with an impressed mark on the underside. See photo 15 for the best image. The mark resembles a squiggle. Measures 10.25 inches diameter. Set 7 Minton Creamware Plates Embossed Swag w Gold Dot Rims c. A pretty older Minton pattern with a creamware type body, embossed swag and shell pattern with dainy gold scallop rim border. Measure 9 inches diameter. Most all are marked with the pink Minton globe mark used beginning in 1891 as well as an impressed Mintons mark. A few have a slight gray discoloration but faint. One has a tiny dark spot common in older porcelains. One has a repair on rim and another has a small flaw or nick on rim. No cracks and gold rims are in nice condition. Overall they display well for an old set! Please view the photos carefully. Please take a look at many new items added daily.
