Minton Shell Pink & Gold 17.75 Extra Large Oval Serving Platter Bone China S613. Vintage light pink bone china oval serving platter made in England by Minton China. Issued from 1949 – 1959 and no longer in production. Pattern name: Shell Pink and Gold(rare pattern). Pink background with swirl scalloped edge and gold rim. Minton Wreath backstamp/mark and impressed. With the words “Minton China” and the numbers “6-57″. Approximate measurements: 17.75. X 14 (35.56 cm). This platter size in this pattern is extremely rare. Condition: In phenomenal condition considering it is over 50 years old! No chips, cracks, or crazing. Gold lining is 99% intact. A few light surface scratches on the center of plate from storage that are hard to see. This platter is either very lightly used or possibly never used at all based on the appearance of its condition. Platter comes as originally made.
