These plates are 8 1/2 across, and there are eight of them. The rim is decorated with a heavy gold decoration. This decoration is strong throughout on all plates. Back of the plates are marked T&V in a bell, and France depose (registered). The plates are translucent and are either porcelain or bone china. These are immediately eye catching and of superior quality. Little to no surface wear. N Three of the plates have light damage to the leveling ring on the bottom. I have photogrtaphed each of those. No cracks, and no other damage to report.
