VERY Hard to find.. LENOX CINDERELLA COVERED VEGETABLE BOWL. I have only seen this for sale one time, YEARS ago, so I bought it.. I was afraid to use it. NO one could touch it. A year ago I gave my daughter my set of Cinderella dishes, but NOT this bowl. This needs to go before I move.. Cinderella Covered Vegetable Bowl. For your consideration is a very rare Erdmann Schlegelmilch Chocolate pot and four (4) cups decorated with mythological figures. The portraits are Angelica Kauffmann scenes from transfers and are all signed A. Kauffmann except the chocolate pot. There is only one (1) saucer which accompanies the set. The colors are rich cranberry, emerald green and gold. The triangular designs and framing around the portraits are decorated with an intricate gold beading. The finial and handles are all rich gold color. The chocolate pot measures 8-3/4 from the base to the top of the finial and is approximately 5-1/2 at its widest point. The cups stand 3 tall and are 2 wide at the rim. The condition is very good used. There are no chips, nicks, scratches or repairs. There are degrees of loss to the gold gilding consistent with age. One cup shows more wear to the gold decorations than the other three. The under stamp is the Prov. Prussia, Mary Frank Gaston, pages 203, 204, 215-216.
