Rare Antique ZS & Co Bavaria Porcelain Bowl & Underplate Set – Hand Painted Roses, Green & Gold, Circa 1890. Absolutely stunning antique porcelain bowl and matching underplate set by ZS & Co. Bavaria Zeh, Scherzer & Co. , believed to date to around 1890. This elegant set features a rich dark green ground, rose transfers with hand-painted detailing, and elaborate gold floral stenciling with a thick gilt scalloped rim. Includes : Matching bowl approx. 9 and underplate approx. Maker : ZS & Co. Zeh, Scherzer & Co. Date : Estimated circa 1890. Molded porcelain with eggshell white gloss back. Floral transfers with hand-painted accents. Ornate gold stenciling and decorative gilt rim. Condition : Overall very good antique condition. Some expected light wear with age including a small chip to the bowl rim, a few plate scuffs, and minor gold and paint rubs (see photos). Still displays beautifully-clean and vibrant. A rare and elegant piece for collectors of fine German porcelain or romantic antique décor.

It’s in great condition. Has some loss of gilding and a few brown spots shown on pictures. No chips or cracks. The creamer is 5¾”H× about 3¾”W. Bowl is 3.5″H× 6.5″W. Creamer 6″H×5″W. Plate 9? This is Exquisite, rare George Jones &Sons Large Bone China piece by the prestigious T. It is marked’20710′. It is a beautiful Victorian/Edwardian style with Blue Bows delicately floating around the inside and outside getting progressively smaller as they descend towards the bottom of the bowl. This Large 10 & 1/2″ Bowl is marked “Guaranteed Best Burnished Gold England, indicating the high quality building used in painting it. It is in excellent shape for the age. I feel/ see no chips or cracks. There is some minor crazing i can see on the underside of the lip and a bit on the bottom of the stand. When I magnified the base to see the maker marks I could see some but not with the naked eye. The gold gilding is in very good condition with a couple small spots where it looks thinner, but very hard to see. The blue is a gorgeous turquoise blue hand painted around the rim.
