Title: Antique Bohemian Reticulated Porcelain Centerpiece Bowl – 11 Inch – Hand Painted Bird Landscape & Heavy Gold Gilt – Pristine Condition Item Description: For your consideration is a truly remarkable, pristine example of late 19th-century European porcelain craftsmanship. This large 11-inch diameter reticulated centerpiece bowl features a deeply curved, three-dimensional profile that makes it a magnificent standalone statement piece or console table console accent. Central Artwork: Features a finely detailed, hand-painted landscape portrait depicting a wild bird perched in a lakeside setting, framed beautifully by vibrant, multi-toned roses and delicate forget-me-nots. The Border: An exquisite, heavy mold-blown leaf and vine motif adorned with intricate, hand-pierced (reticulated) openwork loops along a scalloped rim. The Gilding: Lavishly accented with heavy, bright gold gilt detailing highlighting the relief molding and openwork borders. Condition: Excellent, rare pristine condition. There are absolutely no chips, cracks, hairline fractures, or professional restorations. The fragile pierced work along the rim is entirely intact. Very minimal, age-appropriate wear to the gold trim on the high points. Production Marks: The underside features three distinct historical artisan marks identifying its late 1890s Central European origin (Bohemian/Austrian blank, such as Victoria Carlsbad): 1. Iron-red hand-painted decorator/pattern number 1219. Impressed factory mold size number 3. A faint, hand-incised artisan script/assembly line mark in the raw clay.
