Up for consideration are 2 sets of very rare antique fine porcelain DW Porzellan Karlsbader Wertarbeit Germany fine china cream soup bowls with under plates. These were produced around 1920 & are signed A. Duza or perhaps A. These gorgeous pieces are white with heavy gold & platinum scrolled encrusted bands. The bowls measure 2″ tall, 4 7/8″ diameter & 7″ from handle to handle—-the under plates measure 6 3/4″ diameter. All pieces are in very good condition—no chips, cracks or repairs. There is some slight red tint to some of the gold. Please see photos for condition. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have a question. I will mention any major defects or flaws. I cannot even tell you the beauty and rarity of this set. The condition is excellent. 12 cups and saucers, creamer and sugar and the amount of gold on each piece. Teapot is 9 high x 8 wide. Sugar is 3 x 3. Cups are 2 x 2-1/2. Saucers are 4 round. Indulge in the timeless elegance of this exquisite 15-piece tea set from Eschenbach Bavaria, Germany. This lot includes a RARE Ardalt-Lenwile Zodiac high-footed cup and saucer, with a STAR center detail. This beautiful black and white cup with thick gilding on the black areas is backstamped in iron-red with the code 6388. This is a lovely gilded black-ware from Japan that is a self reading astrological cup and saucer. The saucer has the twelve zodiac signs and descriptions. The interior of the cup has the Star and starburst design. There are no chips or cracks that I can see. There is one small spot where the gold is missing on the Virgo. The black made have faded a bit on the cup/saucer, I’m not sure. It’s a GREAT cup and saucer for the Astrology, Zodiac or Tarot enthusiast! If you have any questions, just ask!
