Ahrenfeldt Crown Saxe Hand Painted Dresden Style Peacock Floral & Gold Plate This listing is for a beautiful hand decorated plate with Dresden type floral borders & a large elaborately painted and gild central peacock motif. Painted on a fancy blank that was most likely made by Charles Ahrenfeldt. The plate is marked on the reverse with the crown saxe mark and a pattern number of 4772/1677 in green. The Crown Saxe mark was used by a decorating studio run by Charles Ahrenfeldt and Richard Briggs Co. This mark was used between 1886 – 1910. Has a lot of wear to the gilding along the edge, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. The plate measures approximately 8 3/4 inches wide. I have 3 of these available. This listing is for 1 Plate. Please note: These are stock images. Flowers and wear to the gilding may vary slightly from what is pictured. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
