Rare Set of 12 Antique c. 1880 Coalport Fine Bone China 9.5 Cabinet Plates. Each 9.5-inch plate features a deep, rich underglaze royal cobalt blue border accented by opulent raised 22k gold lattice web filigree and scrolled rim gilding. The center of each plate displays a uniquely hand-painted, vibrant botanical floral reserve with exquisite roses, morning glories, tulips, and lush greenery. Quantity: Full dozen (12 plates total). Display Quality: 10/10 Display Presentation. From the top, the cobalt glaze, raised gold filigree, and hand-painted artwork present in phenomenal, pristine condition with minimal wear. Structural Notes: The set is in phenomenal condition for age: 10 plates are in excellent condition and 2 have slight underside hairlines that do not affect wall or stand display presentation in any way. Marks: Unsigned / unmarked typical for high-end luxury retail blanks supplied to elite retailers like Tiffany & Co. Or Thomas Goode in the late 19th century. Diameter: 9.5 inches (24.1 cm) each.

Ahrenfeldt Crown Saxe Hand Painted Dresden Style Peacock Floral & Gold Plate This listing is for a beautiful hand decorated plate with Dresden type floral borders & a large elaborately painted and gild central peacock motif. Painted on a fancy blank that was most likely made by Charles Ahrenfeldt. The plate is marked on the reverse with the crown saxe mark and a pattern number of 4772/1677 in green. The Crown Saxe mark was used by a decorating studio run by Charles Ahrenfeldt and Richard Briggs Co. This mark was used between 1886 – 1910. Has a lot of wear to the gilding along the edge, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. The plate measures approximately 8 3/4 inches wide. I have 3 of these available. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.

This seems to be a Greek style with gold underlays that almost seem like a cloisonne yet could be paint but has a Asian Chinese signature / stamp on the bottom.
