Alcock Hand Painted Pink Rose Blue Floral & Gold Cake Bread & Butter Plate 1850s. Nice mid 19th century Alcock bone china bread and butter plate with relief molded and gilt highlighted scrollwork handles. Decorated with pink roses, blue forget me nots, and other pink flowers around a gold band. Scalloped gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the reverse with the pattern number 6/ No 2968. Has some crazing typical of bone china, wear consistent with age and use, and some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 11 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
