Copeland Spode Monogrammed CLB Yellow & Gold Beaded Green 10 1/4 Inch Plate Circa 1901. Nice antique late Victorian era porcelain bone china dinner plate. Decorated with a green and gold fancy CLB monogram in the center with yellow enamel beads. Has a ring of gold gilding with small gold beads along the inner rim. Has a wide border of green with gold floral swags below raised gold scrollwork, yellow enamel beading with red shading over white and black stripes with gold beaded flowers and scrollwork. Gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the reverse Copeland’s China England. This mark was used starting in 1891. Has an impressed J01 Date code for January 1901. Also has an importer/retailer’s mark for Nathan-Dohrmann Co San Francisco Made in England and a pattern number R1201 in red. Has some wear to the gilding and some loss to the yellow beading in the monogram, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 10 1/4 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
