


Absolutely beautiful antique French Limoges porcelain parlor centerpiece / jardinière dating to the late 19th century Belle Époque period. This is a porcelain export blank made for luxury American retailers and decorated with hand-applied Roman liquid gold. Features an elegant scalloped rim, sculpted Roman-gold handles, and classic ball feet with gold “boot” caps, a highly desirable form produced by Limoges factories such as Pouyat, Haviland, and Tressemanes & Vogt. Details. Origin: Limoges, France. Period: Rococo Revival / Early Art Nouveau, c. Condition Very good antique condition. No cracks or repairs. Rim and feet are excellent. Four tiny flea-bite nicks on the handles only (common on antique Roman-gold pieces). Gold remains strong and bright.
