Crown Sutherland Porcelain China Lunch / Salad Plates Pattern 808 Gold Gilt & Floral c. On offer is a VERY RARE pair (2) of pretty, round shaped, Crown Sutherland lunch/salad plates. The plates have three etched gilted gold bands with transfer gilt decorative. Scroll leaves, diaperwork cartouches and urns. The urns have hand painted enamel flowers in them. The backstamp dates the plates to c. The pattern number is 808. Very possibly they may have been imported directly. The plates are in excellent vintage condition with no evident pattern or gilt loss and just a very few small incidental scratch marks in their centerss – probably resulting from storage. They do not appear used to me. A lovely pair of plates for gifting or to add to your collection! NEW WITH TAGS (NWT). Tag is still attached to the item.
