Antique Chinese Hand Painted Pheasants Gamebirds & Gold 9 1/4 Inch Plate. Nice antique hard paste porcelain scalloped edge plate. Decorated with a hand painted brown pheasant in the center with gold gilt sticks. Has a border of hand painted brown pheasants and gold clouds. Gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the reverse with an underglaze blue Chinese scripted mark. Probably late 19th or early 20th century. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 9 1/4 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
