Copeland Hand Painted Floral Turquoise & Gold Reticulated 8 7/8 Plate 1890 E Nice reticulated porcelain plate. Decorated with hand painted flowers and floral swags in purple, pink, blue, yellow, white, and red. The border is enameled in turquoise with gold gilt highlights and gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the reverse Copeland’s China England. Also has a retailer mark for T Goode & Co London and a pattern number D1308 in red. The second number in the date code did not impress, but it is probably 1890s. Has some wear to the gilding, and a small in manufacture stacking flake to the foot rim, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 8 7/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece. Kerr & Binns Worcester Turquoise & Gold Armorial Crest Reticulated Plate 1852-62

Rare reticulated / pierced porcelain bone china dinner plate. Decorated with an armorial crest in black, gold, and red in the center above the motto Spera Semper Spera. The border is decorated in turquoise with small gold beads and raised gold stars. With gold gilding and gold highlights along the edge and to the reticulation. Scalloped gilding along the inner rim. Has an impressed Worcester mark without a crown, which was used by Kerr & Binns between 1852 and 1862. I have not been able to identical the armorial crest. The only mention of this motto I can find anything online is in a story called “The Class Ring” in an 1874 issue of Demorest’s Monthly Magazine, which translates the motto as Hope on, Hope Ever. Has crazing typical of bone china, staining of the type that may soak out, and two small hairlines to the reticulated edge, but otherwise good condition with no additional chips or cracks. Coalport Hand Painted Pink Rose Cobalt Beaded Gold & White Enamel 9 3/8 Plate. Nice bone china plate. Decorated with large hand painted pink roses in the center. Has a cobalt blue border with raised white enamel and gold beaded floral and scrollwork designs above a band of gold gilding with beading and another band of gold gilt scrollwork. Gold gilding and scalloped gilding along the edge of the plate. Unmarked except for some woman’s ciphers. Circa 1860 to 1880. Has some wear consistent with age including a few small scratches mostly to the leaves, and some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
