This is 14″ tall by 9-1/4″ wide, and 4-1/2 thick front to back. This is about as large as you find porcelain statues from this period. It is an impressive piece and would have been extremely expensive back in the day to acquire. This is Hand Painted with Famille Rose & Verte Green, Blues, Black & yellow color glazes with gold accenting. This is Porcelain that I believe was made in the Early Chinese Republic era, early 1900’s.. These are highly collectible today in this size, but the High relief and very well made facial features on this one are exquisite compared to many of these from this period. Please read the mark and do your own research since I could not translate it for you. Condition : This is a very impressive and beautiful statue, but it does have some minor wear. Please see the last picture above- the lotus leaf on the girls back has the bottom and sides edges of the leaf chipped off, this is not visible from the front and the pink blossom is still intact on her shoulder, but from the back you can see the leaf is damaged (you could have this repaired by a professional restoration shop if desired).
