DESCRIPTION: This superb quality china has colors that are bright & vivid. This is hand decorated on a blank of fine white china. The flowers are nestled in their green leaves to make them stand out. The scalloped rims of the coffee pot are trimmed in bold gold. The color palette used was: pink, blue, orange, purple, green and yellow. This large coffee pot of The Mayfair pattern (#7619 White) looks so classy and elegant. CONDITION: While this coffee pot is classified as used, the condition is superb. We find no nicks, chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. There appears to be absolutely no wear to the gold or paint and no crazing. Look in the photos to see this. This decorative large coffee pot commands attention and is beautiful. DIMENSIONS: The height of the coffee pot to the top of the lid is 8 3/4. The handle to spout measurement is 9 7/8″ with an overall width of 5 7/8″. The height to the top of the handle and also the spout is 6 3/8. The base diameter is 4 1/4 and the coffee pot has a capacity of 5 cups. He founded his own Hutschenreuther Porcelain Company in Selb in 1856 which became highly successful and 113 years later absorbed his father’s company. All of the Hutschenreuther Companies were trend setters of high quality porcelain. Hutschenreuther became known for the love of detail, distinctive brilliance of color, and lustrous beauty shown through the decorating of the fine porcelain pieces. The importer is Pasco which was a special export mark used by C. PASCO stands for Paul A. Straub company which was a New York importer for L. The set includes a tray (9.5″x8.5″), a tea pot (4.5″ high), two cups and saucers (the saucers are 3.8″ wide), a creamer (2.1″ high) and a sugar (4″ wide). Marked “S” on the bottom; probably German, late 19th-century. 9.5″W × 8.5″D × 4.5H. Wear to the gilt, as shown.
