Offering this darling, rare antique, German china, “Frozen Charlotte”, (bathing) doll, circa 1880 , for your consideration. This charming model stands a little over 4 1/2 tall with beautiful black molded curly hair very detailed features including blue eyes, sweetly painted mouth and pretty cheek blush. She is incised on her back at the waist: 4 and has her arms outstretched in front of her with her palms facing down and legs apart wearing wonderful gold painted slippers with flat soles and lovely blue ribbon garters. What a darling doll for an antique dollhouse, doll room or display box. She has no damages or repairs, no stains or odors as she is from a smoke free home (some gold paint wear to her slippers).
