This is a pre owned set, gold may be slightly worn in areas. But is a flick here, a flick there, not big areas to mention. There is only one small 6 1/2 inch plate that I see a chip in. See 4th picture, I do not see any other chips or cracks or stains. This is a beautiful set of china that has been cherished over the years.
