Antique JKW Karlsbad Germany Fine China Porcelain Tea Coffee Set Gilt Gold. This listing is for an elegant vintage tea set for six from Germany. Shiny gold porcelain with scenes of couples in love reproduced from the work of Fragonard, a French artist who lived between 1732 and 1806. The pieces in this set feature a series of different scenes from Fragonard’s “Love Story”. These pieces are all in very good vintage condition. This set was bought in post-war West Germany. The set consists of 6 cups with saucers, a cream cup, a sugar jar and a tea / coffee maker. Each piece contains a reserved hand-painted figurative drawing on a gold background. Generally in good old condition. Contains age-appropriate use and light use over the years. No cracks, chips or repairs to porcelain. Only some loss of golden gold due to its age.
