Decorated with gold gilt floral scrollwork designs in the center framed by gold encrustation. With a border of black and green with gold gilt and raised gold gilt scrollwork, urn, flowers, and lattice designs. Gold encrustation along the edge. Based on color charts, I would say the green is a jade or seafoam green. Marked on the reverse Royal Doulton Made in England. Also has an importer’s mark for Marshall Field & Company Chicago. Has some wear to the gilding, mostly in the center, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 8 inches wide.
