The featured item represents a Chinese porcelain vase that measures approximately 9 7/8″ tall, 3 1/2″ across the top and 2 3/4 in diameter at the foot ring. The vase has two applied decorative bat shaped handles and is hand painted in gold. The front depicts an image of egret or heron among pine tree and plants and the back and the neck feature Chinese characters. The base bears an oval mark in iron red as well as export wax seal.
