19th Century British Gold Grapes & Cobalt Bone China Coffee Cup & Saucer
Gold gilding along the edge. Gold band around the outside of the cup. Has crazing typical of bone china, wear to the gilding, the cup has a small in manufacture firing separation to the handle. The saucer has 2 hairlines extending off the back edge with an associated curved hairline on the front and a T shaped hairline near the foot rim, and another hairline extending off the cup. The cup measures approximately 4 1/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 7/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 5/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.

Item Description: Continental Gilt Porcelain Cup & Saucer, 19th Century. Hand painted gilt foliate designs, numbered 478 and indistinct mark on underside. Saucer has a deep bowl and no cup indent. Measurements: Cup 3.25 inches Diameter, 2.5. Height; Saucer 5.5. Very good condition with surface marks consistent with some use and wear. Some wear to the gilt. Add a touch of elegance to your dining table with this rare forty-six piece collection of Century China. From the Salem China Company, manufactured in Salem, Ohio. Made of high-quality porcelain with a warranted 23 karat encrusted gold finish that adds a touch of luxury to any meal. The pieces feature a wide maroon band draped with delicate gold filigree and a gold band just below the maroon band. In the center of each piece is an embossed floral design of pink, yellow and blue flowers and green leaves. 8 Dinner Plates 10. 8 Salad Plates 7. 8 Bread & Butter Plates 6 1/4. 9 Teacups 3 1/2″ x3″. 1 Small Handled Serving Plate 8. 1 Oval Vegetable Bowl 9″x7 1/4″ x 2. 1 Round Vegetable Bowl 8 3/4″ x 2″. 1 Oval Platter 13 1/2″ x 10 1/3″. There is crazing on some pieces. Two dinner plates have chips on their edge but I touched them up with glass paint so you’re not looking at a white chip. One bread and butter plate had a small spot where the maroon color was faded and I touched it up also. You can see this in the pictures. You could easily use these pieces for dining. This is a rare beautiful antique Chinese Blue & white gilt gold porcelain plate, hand painted, 19th Century. It was decorated with gilt gold. The plate’s dimension is 91/2″ in diameter, 3″ in height, 2lbs in weight; had mark under plate’s base. This plate had hair lines, wears signs, no crack & repair. However it is look very nice & good due of ages (please look on the pictures). This plate collected from an Estate sale & many items very scarce, we will list them every week.
