Up for sale is an extraordinarily rare, beautifully preserved, massive 90-piece vintage porcelain dinner service manufactured by Noritake in Japan during the renowned pre-WWII Morimura Brothers era (circa 1920s-1930s). This set features the highly elegant Art Deco. Design Patent Applied For. The pattern showcases a sophisticated pale yellow/cream rim band bordered by a soft blue background. The border features a continuous geometric lattice design interspersed with delicate pink floral sprays and green foliage, finished with brilliant polished gold edging and heavy gold trim along the handles of the serving pieces. This museum-quality estate set has been meticulously maintained over the decades. The gold filigree bands, trim lines, and ornate handles remain crisp, bright, and highly reflective with minimal to no gold loss across the vast majority of the collection.
