Antique Minton China Cabinet Plate Hand Painted Water Mill Scene Pink Gold Encrusted c 1878. A very pretty hand painted water mill scene on this fine Minton English porcelain plate! The back of plate bears an impressed Mintons mark and the date code for 1878. It also has a number in pink G1041. Gold encrusted outer rim with a wide pink band and then a fine verge line of gold and dots. Center of plate is hand painted with a lovely rural scene of stone water house with watermill. No chips or cracks to this fine plate but it does have staining to the back. There is a bit of color change in spots to the pink band but it is minimal. There is fine overall crazing to be expected with normal age and use. It displays very well! A nice estate find! I have many other porcelains listed now- be sure to take a look.
