Has some scratches and enamel loss to the scene, wear to the gilding, a small gilded over flake to the edge and three chips to the foot rim, but otherwise good condition. Vintage Chinese Qianlong Cobalt Blue Gilded Porcelain Vase/Urn With Hand Painted Hunting Scene. This beautiful vase approximately measures 12″ tall, 3.5″top opening diameter, 6″ diameter (widest part), 4″ diameter at the base. A stunning piece for Oriental Art lovers, can be used as a vase or for display. Chinese Qianlong vase/urn is hand painted enameled porcelain vase with western design fox hunting scene. Males are riding on horses surrounded by hound dogs. This rare porcelain jar/vase beautifully decorated with Western fox hunt scene with one man on horse on one side and man and a boy on the smaller horse on the other side, all of them surrounded by hound dogs. The male figures are holding a whip, one is blowing a horn. On background can be seen buildings, flowers, trees and mountains. On each side of the pictures is a gilded scrolls with floral design border over deep cobalt blue ground, also on each side is accurate gilded miniature handle. This rare heavy urn/vase is in overall excellent vintage condition, no cracks, chips or repairs. Without packaging it’s weight is over 4 pounds. Will be carefully packaged and boxed.
