6 Minton Pattern 4051 Hand Enameled Plates 8 inch Basket Weave Blue Gold w Florals. A pretty set of English Minton plates. Lovely hand painted, raised enameled florals in shades of pink, red, blue, purple and yellow. Scalloped gold rim and a basket weave embossed band. Pattern number is 4051. They are marked on back with the pink Minton globe and Caldwell & Co. I believe this mark dates the plates to 1902 to 1911. No chips or cracks. Gold is in very good condition. They do have some light normal wear and light crazing as they are antique plates but overall they display well and are just beautiful for any table setting or cabinet display! BUT GOLD AND ORANGE ONLY SAW ONES. SO I UNDERSTAND IT IS A RARE PATTERN IN GOLD AND ORANGE WITH ROMANTIC SCENE IN THE MIDDLE. LE MIEUX PORCELAIN CHINA, PATTERN LEM17. HAND DECORATED IN 24 K GOLD. THIS LISTING FOR 5 PLATES FOR SOUP OR SALAD 7.5″ DIAMETER, 1.5″ DEEP. IN GREAT CONDITION FOR VINTAGE USED CHINA ONLY FEW PLACES ON RIM HAVE VERY MINOR WEAR ON RIM. THERE SOME PLACES CAN LOOK LIKE WEAR, BUT IT IS LIGHT GLAIR. COULD NOT DO BETTER. LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED ADDITIONAL PICTURES. I READ SOMEWHERE THAT IT WAS MADE IN FRANCE.
