Brown Westhead Moore Cauldon S Pope Hand Painted Pink Rose & Raised Gold Plate Beautiful porcelain luncheon plate. Nicely decorated with large hand painted pink roses with green and pink leaves with gold highlights and raised gold leaves. Also has a small raised gold butterfly. With gold gilt highlights to the relief molded edge. Signed by the artist S Pope. Marked on the reverse Cauldon Ware Brown Westhead Moore & Co Potters to Her Majesty. This mark was used between 1890 and 1904. Also marked with the pattern number B 6502. Has some wear to the gold, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Nice mid 19th century Alcock bone china bread and butter plate with relief molded and gilt highlighted scrollwork handles. Decorated with pink roses, blue forget me nots, and other pink flowers around a gold band. Scalloped gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the reverse with the pattern number 6/ No 2968. Has some crazing typical of bone china, wear consistent with age and use, and some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 11 inches wide. Pointons D23 Hand Painted Large Yellow Rose & Raised Gold & Platinum Plate A Nice bone china dinner plate. Decorated with a large hand painted yellow rose with raised gold and platinum leaves. Has scalloped gold gilding along the edge. Plate is not marked Pointons; however, it matches another smaller plate I have listed separately that has a Pointons mark used between 1883 and 1891 and the same pattern number. It has a mark on the base and it is a Limoges blank that was decorated by Pickard. If anyone knows who the artist is, please let me know. In pretty nice shape as the pics show with no nicks or chips but has some minor losses / scratches to the decoration and it comes exactly as shown. It measures 8 5/8 in diameter. Nice bone china plate Decorated with a hand painted peach and blossoms in the center framed by gold sprigs and scrollwork. Has a grey border with gold gilt leaf and sprig designs.
