This lot includes a RARE Ardalt-Lenwile Zodiac high-footed cup and saucer, with a STAR center detail. This beautiful black and white cup with thick gilding on the black areas is backstamped in iron-red with the code 6388. This is a lovely gilded black-ware from Japan that is a self reading astrological cup and saucer. The saucer has the twelve zodiac signs and descriptions. The interior of the cup has the Star and starburst design. There are no chips or cracks that I can see. There is one small spot where the gold is missing on the Virgo. The black made have faded a bit on the cup/saucer, I’m not sure. It’s a GREAT cup and saucer for the Astrology, Zodiac or Tarot enthusiast! If you have any questions, just ask! This dinner plate set was manufactured around 1925 and bears the C2645 product line. These plates are perfect for adult use and are a rare find in today’s market. See photos for measurements and minor utensil marks on couple of plates. Also one plate has crazing (see photo) and one plate has defect on gold pattern (looks like washed off). Other three plates have no concerns.

Here fresh just out of a home estate contents is a Very Rare Set of 6 – 8in 1920s TIFFANY & CO NEW YORK Lunch Plates – made by GJ – George Jones & Sons Crescent- Made in England in the old Minton factory for Tiffany. Pattern #19950 (as seen in marking photo below). These plates are extreamly rare and very hard to find… And you can see why – they are just amazing and absolutely stunning. Each Featuring (100s of Tiffany blue so called enameled Jewels 2 gold rings and beautiful ring of roses on each of the 6 plates). Condition To me all 6 are in very good condition – some wear to some of the jewels – none missing and small amount of wear to outter gold fine line rim, no cracks, breaks, fractures or repairs.
