This is a vintage Chinese famille rose porcelain covered jar / pot / container. The design has beautiful pink, green, yellow, blue etc. And gold accents of people with birds and flowers. The cover top has a gold foo dog like animal. I believe it is all hand decorated and hand painted. The covered jar weighs 6 lb 6.2 oz. It measures about 12.5 inches tall and 10 inches wide. It has the mark of Qing dynasty Qianlong mark, I don’t believe it is from that era but it can be from the 1950’s to 1970’s. Condition is previously owned but well kept and very clean. There is one area on the inside rim appears to have an uneven edge, possibly a repair but away from view with the cover. A can of 7-Up is placed for size reference and not included.
