A beautiful gold decorated18th century Chinese export blue and white cup and saucer. The cup and saucer presumably was specially made for European market in 18th century from Jingdezhen China, as it can be seen that there are very fine scenery drawings i. Trees, rivers, temples, boat, and peoples, which are handpained by Jingdezhen skilled masters more than 200 years ago, gold enamel decoration was added shortly after (almost same period) as soon as they arrived in the Europe. Very fine porcelain indeed. Useful for a cup of tea, and certainly decorative for sitting in your display cabinet or elsewhere. I owned it , now they are looking for new owner. Period: 18th century Qianlong reign. Size: Cup 6.5cm high, Dish 12.50 cm diameter. No chips, hairlines or restoration. Saucer: tiny tight rim hairline 1.5cm app. See – the 2nd last photo.
