Rockingham Violet Flowers Blue & Gold Rococo Scrollwork 9 3/8 Inch Plate
Rockingham Violet Flowers Blue & Gold Rococo Scrollwork 9 3/8 Inch Plate Nice antique bone china plate with Rococo scrolled leaf molding with gold highlights. Blue border with gold scrollwork and gold bands. Hand painted purple and yellow violet flowers in the center. Marked on the reverse with a puce griffin above Rockingham Works Brameld Manufacturers to the King. This mark was used between 1830 and 1837. Also has the flower name Violet in red on the reverse. Has crazing typical of bone china, some wear consistent with age and use, a few spots of discoloration to the blue border, and an approximately 2 1/2 inch discolored crack extending off the edge. Measures approximately 9 3/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.

Here we have a vintage Lefton China Teaset decorated with sprays of gold and violets. The set consists of a large serving platter that measures apprx 10 1/4 wide, I think it might have been a compote at one time please see the base. However it does sit flat. Teapot apprx 7 3/4″ tall x 7″ from spout to handle. Creamer apprx 3 5/8″ tall x 4 1/4″ from spout to handle. Cup apprx 3 1/2″ x 2 3/4″ x 1 5/8 tall. Saucer apprx 4 3/8. All pieces are in nice condition, no chips, cracks, or repairs. Decorated in a violet pattern with sprays of gold. Please see photos for more details. THE CUP STANDS 6cms HIGH, Does sound a little dull. THE SAUCER IS 13CMS across. And the plate is 14 CMS across. Pattern number is 9123 and has the WILEMAN backstamp. ANTIQUE CONDITION means that the trio is over 100 yes old and is not brand new and cannot with stand hot tea in it or the dishwasher, Without loosing it’s colour or developing cracks or MICROCRAZING.
