Set of 6 Salad Plates. Ivory w/Gold Encrusted Band. This listing is for a set of 6 salad plates from Rosenthal China. The design has ivory pieces with gold encrusted band and thin gold line just inside of the band. The wide band has a swirling design impressed into it. The pieces are similar in shape and design to those in the Ariston (Smooth) pattern. They both have the same style of rectangular serving pieces. Both also have a wide gold encrusted band, but the designs impressed into them are slightly different. The thin line in this pattern is closer to the band than it is in the Ariston pattern….. But they would work very well together as a set. The salad plates measure 7 3/4 in diameter. The pieces I have listed from this set are from a lovely estate set that is in excellent condition. There is no damage and wear is minimal. Design and glaze are in good condition on the pieces. There are no chips, nicks, cracks, repairs or visible crazing.
