The entire body is coated in a lustrous black glaze with a dark metallic sheen. The glaze displays a distinctive golden-brown kiln-transmutation effect, where “hare’s-fur” streaks intermingle with oil-spot crystallization patterns. These radiate outward from the center of the bowl in a striking sunburst arrangement. Under the light, the surface combines the fine silky luster of hare’s-fur markings with the mellow, jade-like texture of oil-spot glaze.
