GDA Limoges Pink & White Rose Double Gold Shallow Bowl Circa 1900-1941

Very pretty shallow porcelain bowl. Decorated with pink and white roses over a yellow, brown, blue and purple background. With gold gilt arch pattern around the center and gold clouded gilding along the edge. Marked on the bottom GDA France in green. This is a whiteware mark used by Gerard, Dufraisseix & Abbott between 1900 and 1941. Also has a retailers mark Made Expressly For Bailey Banks & Biddle Philadelphia & Co. Has some wear to the gilding and a few in manufacture stacking flakes to the foot rim, but otherwise good condition with no post manufacture chips or cracks. Measures approximately 9 3/4 inches wide x 1 3/8 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.

Painted in shades of yellow and brown. With gold gilding along the edge. Signed by the artist Leroux. Marked on the bottom Limoges U C France in green. This mark was used by Union Ceramique in Limoges France between 1909 and 1938. Has some wear to the gilding. Also has some ground spots to the back, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 12 7/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
