This is a gorgeous original antique Gilbert No. 430 porcelain mantle clock in fuchsia with blue and pink painted flowers and metallic gold accents. The original movement has a patent date of 1896. It was tested and will work for several minutes and stop (doesn’t keep running). The movement strikes a bell on the half hour and gong to count off the hour. The entire clock is in very excellent original condition. There are no chips or cracks in the clock, but there is some minor light wear to the glaze including crazing from age, a couple flakes in the glaze, and some worn spots in the gold accents. The paper part of the dial (where the numbers show through the cutout areas in the brass) is very dark from age. The pendulum and key are included and working (not sure if they are original).
